The Arthritis Foundation Walk With Ease self-directed program is a physical activity and self-management intervention developed for people living with arthritis and/or other chronic health conditions who want to be more physically active.
During this 6-week program, individuals use the Walk With Ease Guidebook and walk on their own. Participants are encouraged to work up to walking at least 3 times a week for 6 weeks.
Walk With Ease focuses on motivational strategies including action planning, goal setting and social support, and provides participants with the information, tips and tools they need to develop a safe exercise routine that fits their unique needs and goals.
